Payment

Investing in therapy is a meaningful step and it’s important that it feels both accessible and clear. Below you’ll find information on session rates, insurance and options for using your benefits.

Therapy Rates

Payment is due at the end of every session. Therapy rates are as follows:

  • Initial Intake Session (60 minutes): $200

  • Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes): $165

Payment Methods

I accept all major credit/debit cards and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)/Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).Payments can be made within your SimplePractice Client Portal.

If you do not have insurance or opt out of using your insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Insurance

Most clients I work with use out-of-network benefits for therapy. This means that while I’m not directly in-network with most insurance plans, many companies will still help cover a portion of the cost.

With out-of-network benefits, you’ll pay for sessions upfront and I’ll provide you with a monthly receipt (called a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Depending on your plan, you may receive a portion of the fee back.

If you’re unsure about your coverage, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy, including your deductible and reimbursement rate. Or, you can use the tool below under the 'Navigate Insurance with Ease' section.

Benefits of Private Pay

Private pay allows you to access therapy that’s fully centered on your needs without the limitations, diagnoses, or restrictions often required by insurance. It gives you more privacy, flexibility and the ability to do deeper, more personalized work at a pace that truly supports you.
