RISE: The Whole Girl Project
Building a strong foundation for your mind, body, and future.
Service Description
Growing up is complicated. Girls are navigating changing bodies, friendships, emotions, expectations, social pressures, and the question of Who am I becoming? RISE was created to give girls a space to slow down, ask questions, have real conversations, and build skills they can carry with them into adulthood. RISE brings together mental health, women’s health, nutrition, physical wellness, and personal development in one supportive, developmentally appropriate experience. Rather than focusing on what girls need to “fix,” we focus on helping them better understand themselves, their bodies, and the tools available to them. Throughout the six weeks, girls will explore five core pillars: MENTAL HEALTH Understanding emotions, coping with stress, building healthy boundaries, navigating relationships, managing expectations, and developing a healthier relationship with themselves. NUTRITION Learning about nourishing the body, healthy eating habits, energy needs, and developing a positive and sustainable relationship with food and body image. HORMONE HEALTH & MENSTRUATION Understanding puberty, hormones, the menstrual cycle, and how the body changes throughout adolescence—while learning to recognize and advocate for what their bodies need. PHYSICAL WELLNESS Exploring movement, strength, body care, and the importance of feeling comfortable and connected to the body they are growing into. CONFIDENCE & KNOWING YOURSELF Discovering personal values, identity, strengths, voice, boundaries, and what it means to feel confident in who you are—not just who others expect you to be. RISE is led by Krystina Weiss, LMFT, with guest professionals bringing additional expertise and perspective, including a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in women’s health, and Registered Dietitian (RD). Together, these professionals create an interdisciplinary experience that recognizes that mental, physical, and emotional health are deeply connected. RISE is a closed group for girls ages 14–16, meeting weekly for six sessions. Girls will have opportunities for discussion, education, reflection, connection, and hands-on activities in a welcoming environment where they can be curious, ask questions, and simply be themselves. Real conversations. Lifelong tools. A stronger foundation for the woman she is becoming. Hosted at Studio She Collective in Alexandria, MN.

RISE Booking & Participation Policy RISE: The Whole Girl Project is a six-week psychoeducational wellness group for girls ages 14–16. The group is designed to provide education, discussion, reflection, and practical tools related to mental, physical, and emotional well-being. RISE is not a therapy or psychotherapy group. While mental health and emotional well-being are important components of the program, RISE does not provide individual or group psychotherapy, mental health diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention. Participation in RISE does not replace individual therapy, medical care, or other professional services when those services are needed. If a participant needs additional support beyond the scope of RISE, a parent/guardian may be encouraged to connect her with an appropriate provider. RISE is a closed, six-week group, and participants are expected to register for and commit to all six sessions. Booking individual sessions is not available. The full six-week program must be booked at the time of registration. The total cost of RISE is $180 and payment is required for all six sessions regardless of attendance. Because the group is designed as a progressive experience, each week builds upon the conversations, education, and skills introduced throughout the program. Consistent attendance is encouraged to support the participant's experience and the group as a whole. Missed Sessions If a participant is unable to attend a scheduled session, the session fee is still applicable and missed sessions are not refunded or rescheduled. When possible, participants may be provided with materials or information from the missed session to help them stay connected to the overall experience. Group Environment RISE is intended to be a supportive, respectful, and inclusive educational environment. Participants will be encouraged to participate in discussion and activities at a level that feels comfortable for them; however, participation in the group does not create the same therapeutic relationship or expectations as psychotherapy. Because RISE is a group setting, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Participants will be asked to respect the privacy of others and agree not to share personal information or stories discussed by other group members outside of the group. Parent/guardian consent and participant assent are required prior to participation.
